Before I gave birth, I couldn’t tell you about my pelvic floor – period.

In this episode, I sit down with registered physiotherapist, yoga teacher, and mom, Andrea Plitz. She is an excellent practitioner and so informed  wealth of information – and by following her work on Instagram, she is frequently providing workshops for women, seeing clients one on one, and attending amazing training experiences that she shares. She is a trusted provider in the Ottawa community, and when I ask other women who they know or trust, her name is one that is mentioned frequently!

In this episode, we talk about:

  • The fundamentals of pelvic floor health for women
  • Learning to use your menstrual cycle to your advantage
  • The kegal! I ask Andrea to demystify this exercise and she walks us through how to do it – properly!
